... And how to get more traffic to your profile!

The good thing with Adultwork is that there are already millions of customers that visit the site on a regular basis and pay big money to spend time with webcam models. The only thing that you need to do to tap into that is to get your profile noticed.  Some of that work is done by us as an agency but, there is more that you can do to help.

When a client visits the Adultwork site they will look for the models who are currently online and available. This is what they will see.. (We have deleted the usernames)

There can be more than 10 pages of girls online at any one time (yes its that popular) and lets face it.. men are lazy! So what can you do to help get your profile noticed?

Have a good profile photo.  Full body shots that include your face work the best but if you want to keep your face out of the shot, be inventive when thinking about your profile photo. You want to entice visitors towards you and leave them wanting more. We recommend wearing something sexy, but doesn't show everything. This leaves men wondering what is underneath and they are more likely to visit you to try and find out!

As mentioned, we will have set up your profile so that it's easier to find when a visitor searches for a particular type that they wish to engage with.  Adultwork will always prioritise profiles that are actively used on a regular basis.  There are few ways that you can help them to see that you are a regular user;

• Update your profile description regularly, even if its just one word each time
• Add an image to your free and paid gallery each time you go online (there is a video that explains this more)
• Add a blog entry to your profile, this can be about anything you want.
• Bid for first page placement
• Go into Free mode

In this section we will explain in a bit more detail about bidding and free mode. Again there is a video on how to do both of these, so be sure to watch through them.

Bidding for first page placement

So what is bidding and why do it?

Basically you want your profile to appear on that first page so that you can be easily found. One way to do this is to bid for a placement. You can use a small amount of your credits to pay for that position.  It's classed as a bid because the amount of credits needed can vary depending on how busy the site is. We suggest starting at 2 credits and spend no more than 10. The video on bidding explains how to do this and how you will know if your bid has been accepted.

This is updated every hour so you need to get your bid in by five to the hour for it to count.  We recommend placing your bid 15 minutes before the hour and check back at 5 to the hour to make sure you have bid enough credits (the video explains this in detail). Your bid only lasts for the hour.  So for example if you bid 2 credits for the hour of 1pm - 2pm you will need to bid again for 2pm - 3pm and so on.

Free Mode

You may not want to spend your hard earned credits on bidding for a placement, so the other way to be seen is to go into free mode. Again, see videos for how to switch modes.

As well as being lazy, men also like to get a sneak peek at what they are going to be paying for and the best way to do this is by going into free mode.  While in free mode you will have several people join your room and it can happen quite quickly.  Try and say Hi to each person that enters.

We will have already adjusted your settings so that anyone joining you in free mode will only be allowed to stay there for 5 minutes in any 24 hours.  The reason we do this is because if they like what you are about and they want to continue talking to you, they will have to invite you into either group, or private. As soon as you accept that invitation, you will then be earning credits.

Free mode doesn't always show on the first page but, men will sift through the pages looking for girls who are in free mode as it doesn't cost them anything. Consider free mode to be like window shopping.

Whether you only go into free mode for 10 minutes or stay there until you get an invitation, is completely up to you.  It can be fast paced, so it's not for everyone.

Emails

This is probably a good place to mention emails within AW.  You will receive random emails and the video for this will show you how to view these.  We recommend only replying to people who have a review rating of above five.  If they have zero reviews, they are probably trying to get you into an email conversation to avoid spending money with you on cam.  If they have a decent number of reviews then it could be worth a quick reply.  Ask them to add you to their hotlist as this will send them a notification each time you are online.

Leaving Reviews

After you have spent some time with a client, a good way to entice them back is to leave them a review.  This will also encourage them to leave you one in return.  Adultwork tend to prioritise profiles with the high review numbers as they are generally more popular.

I wouldn't leave the review immediately after the chat.  Use it more like a way of reminding them they had a good time with you. They will get a notification that they have received a new review and it may be a good way to nudge them to visit you again. Think of it like a cheeky text message a couple of days after an awesome date.

How to Leave a Review

Log in to your Adultwork account.  Go to Emails and Bookings and scroll down to Leave Review.  You will then see a list of users that you have had webcam session with.  By leaving a review for one of your clients they may be more inclined to do the same for you in return.
